Richmond, Va – Abraham Teklu, MD and Ify Elebo, FNP-C have been with Legacy Care for several years. Now, for the first time, this experienced pair is collaborating together in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation community in Richmond, Va.
For several decades, both Dr. Teklu and Ify have been caring for patients. A brief background:
+ Dr. Teklu: specializing in geriatrics, Dr. Teklu earned his master’s degree in public health, then his medical degree from Addis Ababa University Medical. He served as a medical director of a health center, and a representative of the Ministry of Health in Ethiopia supervising a regional hospital and 25 satellite clinics. He completed a fellowship in Geriatrics at Virginia Commonwealth University.
+ Ify Elebo, FNP-C: after earning a biochemistry degree, Ify began her career in the science field working for several years in a drug manufacturing company. She then earned her undergraduate nursing degrees from ECPI University, followed by a master’s degree in nursing from South University. She specialized as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Together, this seasoned team will deliver patient care on-site in partnership with facility teams.
