Richmond, Va – Dr. Cynthia Bettinger has been practicing medicine for more than 30 years.
A keen interest in science initially drew her to this profession. “I wanted a career that would challenge me and lead to lifelong learning,” Dr. Bettinger said.
Dr. Bettinger specializes in Family Medicine and Geriatrics. She’s served patients in private practice as well as urgent care centers. Today, she delivers care in Richmond-based skilled nursing communities.

Dr. Bettinger earned her undergraduate degree from William & Mary and medical degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine/Medical College of Virginia.
She also is a Fellow in the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Outside of patient care, Dr. Bettinger loves to garden, with a focus on native plants. She and her husband enjoy traveling, visiting with their three adult children and tending to their 2 dogs, 3 cats and 6 chickens.
