Legacy Care Expands into North Carolina with New Provider & Healthcare Partnerships

Raleigh, NC – Two North Carolina providers have teamed up with Legacy Care’s Management Services Organization.

Octavio Cieza, MD and Lynn White, FNP-C, partners in care with Legacy Care’s Management Services Organization, are delivering care at Tower Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. 

 “This partnership represents the first time we have collaborated with North Carolina partners in care,” said Legacy Care President. “We’re new to North Carolina, but we’re not new to the post-acute care and long-term care. More than 100 providers who partner with us deliver care to patients in 130 nursing homes, long-term care facilities, inpatient rehabilitation centers and other post-acute care communities in 10 states.”

A renowned infectious disease specialist, Dr. Cieza has been delivering patient care for more than a decade. He received his medical degree from San Marcos Senior National University Lima Peru and his internal medicine residency program at Christ Hospital of Cincinnati. Dr. Cieza then completed an infectious disease fellowship University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Chicago. Following this work, he managed HIV/AIDS clinical trials at the University of Texas at Houston. Dr. Cieza is board certified in both infectious disease and internal medicine. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Board of Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease Society of America.

Lynn White is a nurse practioner who has been delivering care to patients for more than eight years. She has a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Cincinnati, a bachelor’s of science in nursing from Winston Salem State University. Prior to healthcare, Lynn earned a MBA from Campbell University and a bachelor’s of science in industrial engineering from North Carolina State University. For the past several years, Lynn has focused on infectious disease, working with patients who have chronic diseases including hepatitis, HIV/AIDS and more. Her past experience includes a focus on intensive care unit, pulmonary, renal and cardiac patient care in hospital and primary care practice settings.
