Virginia Beach, Va – Rex Biedenbender, MD, MPH, a prolific clinical author and researcher who specializes in geriatrics and family medicine, recently joined Legacy Care. He’ll be working with our Virginia-based teams who are serving patients in a skilled nursing facility, as well as assisted living community residents.
Dr. Biedenbender has dedicated his career to gerontology, serving patients in numerous post-acute and long-term care settings. Additionally, he has served as an assisted professor at The Glennan Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology Eastern Virginia Medical School in the Department of Internal Medicine. He is the author of numerous abstracts, presentations and web teaching modules.
Dr. Biedenbender earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School and undergraduate degree from William & Mary. He specializes in internal medicine and geriatrics.
