Virginia Beach, Va – Tina Mason is a seasoned healthcare leader who has more than 26 years of experience in the industry. She was recently selected to serve as Legacy’s Care regional director of operations.
Administratively, Tina has served in healthcare management roles for hospital systems and long-term care communities. She has deep experience in business development, sales, account management and operations. She also has expertise in coding and billing, holding a Certified Professional Coder certification since 2010.
Clinically, Tina has served as an EMT first responder and certified nurse assistant in long-term care.
Tina earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Health Services Management, Magna Cum Laude, from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. She is currently working on her MPA in Healthcare Administration.
An active community volunteer, Tina is currently serving as Vice President of the AAPC’s Newport News chapter.
