Virginia Beach, Va – Legacy Care welcomes nurse practitioner Joseph Columbus, DNP, ANP-BC. He’ll be teaming up with our Partners in Care at a Virginia-based skilled nursing community.
Joseph is an adult care practitioner. He also specializes in cardiology, dermatology, wound care and otolaryngology.
His passion for teaching and leadership led Joseph to serving as an assistant professor in the Florida Southern College School of Nursing and Nursing Clinical Instructor/Visiting Lecturer for Polk State College.
Throughout his career, Joseph has also delivered multiple didactic presentations to his peers on a variety of healthcare topics.
Joseph earned his undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of South Florida, his Master’s from Florida Southern College School of Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Rush University.
A married father of two sons, Joseph enjoys gardening, traveling and reading to keep up with best practices for patient care.
